The cause of the water-grain phenomenon during the gravure printing of cigarette packaging and its solution

In the production process of cigarette package gravure printing, water waviness occurs in the solid part of the print, or the ink exhibits uneven print transfer markings. The main causes of water-streak phenomenon are:
1, ink viscosity is too small;
2. Improper angle of printing cylinder hole;
3, the printing speed is low;
4, printing plate hole too deep;
5, improper printing tension.
The corresponding solution is:
1. To increase the viscosity of the ink, do not over-dilute the ink. If the ink tank contains excessive ink, add some of the original ink and check the quality of the ink to see if the viscosity of the ink is appropriate.
2, reduce the depth of the plate cylinder hole;
3, improve the printing speed;
4, change the angle of the plate cylinder;
5. Correct the printing tension.
