Recently, Guangdong Hubei Chamber of Commerce Furniture Association held an anniversary celebration in Houjie. At the ceremony of the association, the reporter found that participating in the association is no longer just a furniture enterprise, but also includes cooperation and docking in the whole industry chain such as Hong Kong Golden Horse Triumph and other channel stores, famous furniture exhibitions, Huazhong Furniture Industrial Park and dealers. The association has formed a cluster model of the entire industry chain.

“The association is only a service organization. We finally promote the development of the industry and enterprises through the integration and innovation of resources in the whole industry chain.” Shi Da, executive secretary of the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce and Furniture Association of Guangdong, said. This kind of participation in the whole industry chain has enabled the Guangdong Hubei Chamber of Commerce Furniture Association to expand rapidly. At present, the association has 113 members, with a total output value of over 10 billion yuan, of which the proportion of member companies in Dongguan is as high as one third.

The reporter learned that in order to concentrate resources, the Guangdong Hubei Chamber of Commerce Furniture Association has set the Secretariat in Houjie as a bridgehead to radiate the domestic market. Shi Da said that the transformation and upgrading effect of Dongguan furniture industry has been good, forming a furniture brand enterprise, including many brands founded by furniture entrepreneurs in Hubei. “The office is located in Houjie, mainly taking into account the advantages of upstream and downstream resources concentration in the furniture industry chain of Houjie.”

Guangdong Hubei Chamber of Commerce Furniture Association was established in 2011. It initially used Hubei entrepreneurs in the Pearl River Delta region of Shenzhen, Dongguan and Foshan as a link to provide an exchange learning platform and explore the mode of the conference.
