Work does not always make 16K, 8K and other regular printed materials, especially packaging boxes, small cards (qualification certificates), etc. are often not closed. At this time, we need to pay attention to the finished product as much as possible when imposing Put it in the proper paper opening range to save costs.
1. The following first introduces formal imposition
Take the Dadu 16K cover as an example: (Demonstration software: CD8). According to the printing needs (such as quantity) and the limitations of the printing plant equipment 8K machine, 4K machine, start-up, full-sheet machine, we also need to make different adjustments according to the actual situation when we make up, generally 8K or 4K is enough It's used, because it can be used on the two-side and full-open printing machines, and it can be solved by self-turning or front and back printing.
In the example, the bleeding edge is 3 mm. 8K version (side by side), page size (pictured), bleeding edge (yellow), net size (blue), 4K version (head to head), page size (pictured), bleeding edge (yellow), net Size (blue)
2. Single-page printed matter
During imposition, the middle (vertical center line) of the splicing part has a 6 mm bleeding edge, that is, each single page has 3 mm bleeding on the four sides (two cuts are required).
Note: If the printed product you made does not have bleeding pictures, shading, or completely one-color shading, etc., you can use the method of 1 imposition, just a knife in the middle.
3. Imposition of the envelope
In general production, we are used to putting the envelope together with the "tongue". This method is more paper-consuming (a blank is not used), but the pattern is good in continuity.
Another method is to return the cover to the cover. The "tongue" is made separately, which saves paper, but there is one more "pastework", that is, one more glue (or one more double-sided tape) when finished. The green part in the picture is the pasted part.
4. Box imposition
Generally, the large packaging box (over 8K) can be directly delivered to the printing house for printing without imposition.
The following briefly introduces the imposition of small packages.
Try to make the imposition work the most compact under the premise of opening, but the packaging box involves more post-processes. Rolling the box (cutting the edge and pressing the crease line) is the most critical. At this time, you need to pay attention to the imposition The distance between the two nearest edges is not less than 3mm, otherwise it will be very troublesome when arranging the knife version, which will affect the quality of the product.
After you complete the imposition (with the customer's signed agreement), it is best to produce a large original knife version of the film, so that the printing factory can arrange the knife.
5. Business card
Allies who may be engaged in typing, copying, and making business cards have such experience, making 8 business cards on a business card paper, and then cutting them out with a card cutting machine. In fact, this is wasteful. My experience is that one business card paper can make 10 business cards (as shown below). There is no card cutting machine. If the number is small, you can use a ruler or knife. If the number is large, borrow the printing factory ’s. The paper cutter is very convenient and economical. If you only make one or two boxes of business cards, and it happens to be in color, and you happen to have an envelope in your hand, then use the blank space of the envelope.
6. Tag cards and stickers, etc.
Something annoying. However, it is not difficult, so be careful and calculate the size. Divided into three categories:
(1) One-size-fits-all (no bleeding), similar to business cards, the outermost edge of the whole needs bleeding;
(2) Two cuts (including bleeding)
(3) Rolling boxes, punching holes, fillets (requires a knife arrangement, the spelling method is the same as 2)
(4) In the case of mixed proportions, in the case of a proportional number, you can mix and match in the closed layout.
7. The following is a recommended method for drawing corners for friends who are using the beginner CD. It is very practical. It should have been sent to the vector section, but because it is very related to this post, it is posted here.
(1) Select a hand-drawn tool, press the Ctrl key, draw a straight line segment (hairline) vertically in the upper left corner of the page, and change the size to 3mm;
(2) Ctrl + A (alignment and distribution), D, T, L; [Note: Alt + A + A (the way to open the menu in CD9 and above), the same as (3) change the x coordinate to 3, and Tap the number keyboard + sign (the far right of the keyboard) to copy a line;
(4) Change the x coordinate to 6, and group two line segments;
(5) Press the + button again to copy, and rotate 90 degrees;
(6) Subtract 3 from each of the x and y axis coordinates, a group of corners has been completed, then copy this group of corners and press the + key, and then mirror horizontally;
(7) Ctrl + A, D, R, no need to use T at this time, the figure moves horizontally;
(8) Select all two sets of corner lines, press + to copy, and mirror vertically;
(9) Ctrl + A, D, B, the corner line is completed.
(10) Finally, do n’t forget to add CMYK color code books
