The time of printing with sulfuric acid paper was determined by the author. When the printing staff got a certain brand PS plate that had never been used before, first remove the edge with a length of 70-80mm and a width of about 50mm from the plate as a test plate, and then put a blank sulfuric acid paper on the test. In the edition, it is exposed according to the time given by the equipment manufacturer. After the end of the exposure, the sulfuric acid paper was removed and no traces of sulfuric acid paper were observed on the surface of the PS plate without development. If yes, the printing time will be extended by 5 seconds. Another trial version will be tried again. If so, you can extend the time and try again until the PS version has no trace. The exposure time is normal. Printing time. On the contrary, if there is no trace on the PS plate for the first test, then the plate-down time is reduced by 5 seconds, and the drying is stopped until the mark appears. The last printing time just after the mark is used as the normal printing time. The printing time derived from this method is neither too long nor too short.
The concentration of the developer, the author is to grasp this. Insert a corner of the sunned version (blank space without graphics) into the developer, pause for a while, and immediately remove it. Observe whether there is a small circle connected to a small circle caused by developer in the corner. Yes, indicating proper concentration and moderate speed. If it is a large circle, it means that the concentration is high. Add some water and try again. If there is no reaction, the concentration is low, and you can add more concentrated developer to try again. The advantage of hand display is that it can be observed while developing.
