In April 2009, the library set out to integrate the automation system with the campus card. In October 2009, the library has basically realized the campus card card management of items such as access control, book borrowing, overdue fines, compensation for lost books, and employee time and attendance, and achieved satisfactory results.
1. Definition of campus network card system
Generally speaking, one-card refers to a comprehensive system and management mode in which users can enjoy multiple related services or accept unified management by multiple related institutions within a certain field or range. The campus network all-in-one card also belongs to this category. There is no unified definition in China, but we usually refer to the campus card all-in-one card system based on the existing campus network and using mature and advanced non-contact IC card technology to achieve data collection and construction Personal data management application platform, which comprehensively applies computer technology, network communication technology, database technology, automatic control technology and IC card technology. The campus all-in-one card system organically connects the various management subsystems of the entire campus to further strengthen the sharing of resources within the school. 2. The importance of the campus network card application in the library
The library is the unit with the highest utilization rate of the school ’s information resources. The business process is complicated and the users involved are numerous. 3.1 The integration of the library integrated system and the card system

Based on the analysis of the business and data of the two systems, the library developed a third-party interface program with data exchange function for the two systems, which realized the data docking work of the library integrated system and the one-card system, and thus realized the readers ’use. 3.2 Printing, duplication and other service charge items are connected with the card system
The library provides readers with paid service items such as printing, copying, copying of audio and video, and CD-ROM materials. The charging of these items is completed through the charging module of the library's GDLISNET library integrated system. After the module is connected with the consumption system of the card system, readers can use the campus card to debit in real time.
3.3 Reader access to the reading room interface with the card system
Reading room reader access means that if the reader wants to enter a reading room of the library, he will first use the campus card to swipe the card to log in. 3.5 Realize the docking of access control, staff attendance system and one-card system
After docking with the card control system through the access control system, the access control system realizes the identity verification of the campus card, and only qualified campus card holders can enter the library. This can optimize the use of resources, effectively identify the readers, and write the readers' entry records to the database, so that the library resources have interest rates and the number of readers.
After the employee time attendance system is connected to the one-card system, the library can implement identity verification and time recording through employee access and swipe campus cards, thus completing employee time attendance registration, simplifying time attendance procedures, reducing the impact of human factors, and making time attendance more fair and objective .
4. The key technology of campus card system in library
The main business of the library is completed by the library integration system. The key to the campus card to achieve a true card in the library is whether the school card can be closely integrated with the library integration system. The school library automation system uses the GDLISNET library integration system, which uses a client / server (C / S) structure model. The solution of the author ’s school to integrate the two systems with campus cards is mainly: the reader information of the library is based on the campus card card, because the user information of the card is the most complete and detailed, and the library reader data Only the relevant fields in it can be taken; and the original library books, periodicals, ordering, cataloging, borrowing and circulation of library-specific services are still carried out in the GDLISNET library integration system, but it involves the identity verification of campus cards , Real-time deductions and other services through the third-party interface program to enable the library integration system to exchange data with the card system, so that the library integration system and the school card system are organically combined. The main functions of the third-party interface program are:
User data synchronization: The main purpose of this module is to synchronize the reader data required by the GDLISNET library integration system with the card user data. When the user data is added or changed in the card data, the module will timely transfer the relevant data to the user information table of the GDLISNET library integration system. In this way, the user information of the campus card is consistent with the reader information of the GDLISNET library integration system.
Real-time data exchange: The main function of this module is to authenticate and debit the campus card in real time. When the reader uses the campus card to transact business, the module authenticates the card through the terminal and the card reader. If the card information is in a normal state, the reader information enters the library integration system and allows the card to handle related services. If the card is in an abnormal state such as cancellation, it will suspend any business in the library. At the same time, the real-time data exchange module is connected with the consumer system of the card system, so that readers can use campus cards to carry out real-time deductions for overdue fines and copy fees on the library integration system.
5. The effect of the card system in the library

5.1 Saving resources and improving work efficiency: Before the school library was used in the one-card system, the departments of the school ’s staff and staff information management, student status management, capital management, etc., were independent of each other, which caused human and material resources to some extent. The performance in the library is that when students go through the procedures for borrowing the card and leaving the school, they need to invest a lot of manpower, material resources and time. 5.2 Achieve resource sharing and more scientific reader management: In the past, the teacher and student information of the school was independently completed by the personnel department, the student department, the graduate school, etc., especially when the faculty and staff changed their jobs or the students' suspension of school and other related school changes Libraries often spend a lot of energy to maintain the reader library to ensure the accuracy of information. Therefore, the consumption through card swiping on campus not only greatly reduces human operation errors, but also makes charging management more standardized.
5.4 It is convenient for readers, and the borrowing process is simpler: as long as the reader has a campus card, he can handle all the business in the library, which greatly facilitates the readers. On the basis of the original library system, the campus card is used to strengthen the management of book circulation, including: borrowing books, renewing loans, losing compensation, etc., so that the business process is more scientific and reasonable.
