First, the choice of color

Most of the colorful papers are rich in color. There are two kinds of colors in the production of colored paper. One is that the paper is mixed with dye in the pulp during the production process, and the second is after the paper is formed, the coating is used to dye the dye. Attach to the surface of the paper.

The two production processes are well-distributed and can be discerned by tearing the paper to see if the section is white.

The first process, the color adhesion is good, not easy to have a large color, dark color is not easy to fade, most of the imported paper is used in this process, but its drawback is that there is little color change, there is little choice.

The second process is of various colors and can be dyed according to customer's requirements. Most of the domestic paper adopts this process. Its disadvantages are different with different bottom papers, toner raw materials, patterns and production batches. The degree of color difference, dark paper stained with water is easy to fade, so customers are best to use light-colored series of paper, one-time need to complete the production of paper.

However, with the improvement of the technological level, it is now possible to produce paper that is translucent.

Second, the paper lines

The line of paper refers to the direction of the paper fibers, that is, parallel to the direction of the paper machine, also called the longitudinal direction, and is called the transverse direction perpendicular to the paper machine.

Many properties of the paper have significant directionality. Longitudinal tensile and kneading resistance are strong, and tearing is weak. It is easy to tear off because the lines are longitudinal and laterally difficult to remove.

Third, offset printing plate

According to the printing level in China, such as printing with coated paper, the color separation dot (DPI) generally uses 175 lines, if printed with color paper, it is generally recommended to use 130--150 line printing. This is mainly due to the fact that decorative paper absorbs more ink than coated paper. Using a lower number of lines avoids more overlap of ink dots, resulting in a clear image.

Fourth, design attention

Fancy paper color, texture, pulp quality, a variety of specifications, almost no two species exactly the same, so when using design paper design must first according to the pre-selected paper, according to its personality, with the design The intention is to complete the design process and must not set the paper after the design is completed. This effect is usually not ideal.
