IMA North America Inc. introduced an intermittent motion capsule filling machine with a new tampering-pin powder dosing device that excels in speed and dosing. The equipment has the ability to independently adjust the operating parameters of the machine and can obtain good results in various products. In the Impressa capsule filling machine, the working area is completely isolated from the mechanical area, thus preventing the powder from reaching the lower part of the machine. With this feature, coupled with a centralized lubrication system, the maintenance of the equipment is reduced and longer machine life is guaranteed. This device can be equipped with a strain gauge, which controls the net weight of the product by 100% through the compression force.
