Faced with the difficulty of expanding the old equipment room, poor overall coordination, and mixing of hot and cold airflow, the project uses Huawei's FusionModule2000 integrated module solution, which integrates power distribution, cooling, cabinet and other systems into the module; components and monitoring cables. Prefabrication of the factory makes the installation on site very simple and greatly reduces the online time of the business. At the same time, when the business volume grows, it can be simply copied, deployed in phases, expanded on demand, and invested in phases to improve the utilization of funds.
In the face of the old machine room, the air supply air supply has a long air supply distance, and the lower air supply causes the utilization of the cooling capacity to be low, resulting in high operating electricity costs. The project uses inter-line air conditioning and closed channels to make the cooling capacity of the precision air conditioner. The utilization rate has been greatly improved, reducing the energy consumption of the operating room. Among them, the inter-line air-conditioning arrangement and the rack arrangement are installed side by side with the server cabinet, the cold air is supplied by the cold channel, and the horizontal air supply mode is returned by the hot channel, thereby avoiding the problem of mixing the cold and hot air flow in the traditional open cooling mode. The cooling capacity of the cold aisle is evenly distributed. The lower end of the cabinet is consistent with the cooling capacity at the upper end of the cabinet. This ensures uniform temperature of the server cabinet, solves the problem of local hotspots to the greatest extent, and improves the operational reliability of the core equipment in the equipment room.
In addition, the old machine room uses power frequency UPS. The UPS equipment is bulky and takes up a lot of room space. Under low load conditions, the UPS is inefficient and consumes a lot of power, which is not in line with the energy saving and emission reduction of the new generation data center. Claim. Therefore, Huawei's modular UPS high-reliability power supply solution is adopted in this project; high-efficiency UPS achieves the highest efficiency (95%-96%) at the most common load rate (20%-40%), which is more than 10% energy saving compared with the traditional UPS. . At the same time, the low footprint of the modular UPS can save valuable space for the equipment room. Compared with the traditional tower UPS, the modular UPS brings more possibilities for the flexible expansion of the data center.
Huawei's agile network solution is an agile campus network built by Chongqing University with high reliability, large bandwidth, easy management and easy maintenance, and no coverage. It effectively carries the teaching, research and management of the school, which increases the bandwidth of the teachers and students. Times, the wireless access bandwidth is up to 100 times higher, and the maintenance workload is reduced by more than 50%.
The dual-active data center constructed at the same time fully guarantees the reliable continuity of the business, realizes the “zero†loss of data, and the business is uninterrupted; the resources are optimally utilized, the two sites realize load balancing, and the two sets of data centers are fully and reasonably applied, and the original There are storage devices that can be used normally; centralized data backup in three places simplifies system operation and maintenance management, and management costs are reduced by 30%; equipment is old, and investment is protected from repeated waste.
