On the evening of January 9, the packaging paper manufacturer Zhejiang Rongsheng Environmental Protection Paper Co., Ltd. announced that the company expects its net profit attributable to 2018 to fall by more than 40% year-on-year.
According to the announcement, Rongzheng Environmental expects that the annual operating income will reach 2.1 billion in 2018, which is slightly higher than that in 2017 (2.034 billion). The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies is about 208 million, compared with the same period of last year. The ratio was reduced by about 191 million, a year-on-year decrease of about 47.83%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies excluding non-recurring gains and losses is expected to be 204 million, a decrease of about 181 million compared with the same period of the previous year and a decrease of approximately 47.05%. Among them, the estimated non-recurring profit and loss for 2018 is about 4 million, accounting for 1.86% of the net profit.
Regarding the main reason for the pre-reduction of performance, Rongsheng Environmental said:
(1) Due to the sharp increase in the purchase price of raw materials and the overhaul of some production lines caused by boiler overhaul, the output has decreased compared with previous years, which together led to a decrease in gross profit margin.
(2) According to the accounting standards, Rongzheng Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. is required to confirm the share payment fee of 41.736 million in 2018 due to the implementation and termination of the restricted stock incentive plan.
