The BX-IR 400 KA is the ideal tool for checking leaks inside valves. The frequency modulation function of the instrument can highlight the fault signal and significantly reduce the interference of external sounds, even if multiple valves that are closely arranged are not affected.

Second, the use of:

Third, the detection method:

Method 1: Touch the metal probe to the valve casing and the pipe wall on both sides of the valve. If the closer the valve is, the larger the indication value is observed, and the louder the sound is heard, indicating that there is leakage in the valve.

Method 2: Four-point comparison method, when the on-site interference is too large, the four-point comparison method is used to detect, and the on-site interference is sometimes large, leading to an error indication of valve leakage. At this time, the four-point method is adopted: two equidistant points on the upstream side of the valve (points A and B) are selected, and compared with the values ​​of two equidistant points (points C and D) on the downstream side of the valve. Compare the signal strengths of points A and B with the signal strengths of points C and D. If point C is higher than points A and B, the valve has a leak. If point D is higher than point C, the sound is from the downstream. At other points, there is no leakage in the valve.

Method 3: Detect valve leakage when there is large noise interference in the system. In the high voltage system, there are two cases where the noise generated by the valve leakage and other noise in the system are transmitted to the downstream side of the valve through the manifold, and the downstream side is determined to be high. Whether the frequency signal comes from valve leakage or other places can be done as follows.

1. Move the sensor probe to the suspect source (ie, pipe elbow or other valve), observe the meter indication and monitor the sound.

2. Touch the upstream side of the suspect source and observe the indicator value and monitor

Listen to the sound.

3. Touch the downstream side of the suspect sound source, and gradually move toward the measured area, observe the instrument indication value and monitor the sound, pay attention to the small pitch movement, such as moving every 15-30 cm, and pay attention to observe the change and sound of the instrument. Variety.

4. If the instrument indication and sound intensity decrease during the process of moving to the valve under test, the valve is not leaking.

5. If the instrument indication and sound intensity increase during the process of moving to the valve under test, the valve has a leak.
